On-Site Courses

What Is an On-Site Course?

Although Marmon College regularly conducts courses in its Chicago/Willowbrook location, we also can travel to your site to develop and teach content that is meaningful to you. We can teach our existing courses, customize our existing courses, or develop new ones depending on your needs. Our on-staff instructional design expertise and knowledge make us your perfect training partner.

Advantages of On-Site Courses

On-site courses eliminate time and travel costs for participants. The session can run on a schedule that is most convenient for the participants.  And the session can be more custom-designed to the specific and immediate issues facing the participants.

Examples of Standard On-Site Sessions

Marmon College has recently conducted our standard courses at member company sites:

·         “Accounting for Non-Financial Managers” course for EcoWater at Mol, Belgium;  and for OsteoMed at Addison, Texas

·         “Negotiating Skills” course for Bushwick Metals near Bridgeport, Connecticut; and for Acumed at Hillsboro, Oregon

·         “Managing Employee Performance” course for Precision Edge at Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan

·         “MAP” course for Cerro Fabricated Products at Weyers Cave, Virginia.

Examples of Customized On-Site Sessions

Steve Moroni conducted several specialized Negotiation workshops for Marmon/Keystone.

Erin Doppke also designed, wrote, and conducted a workshop for over 100 Prince Castle employees.

A Small Group Can Take Advantage of Being On-Site

If a company has at least 6 or 7 candidates for a course, it will usually be more cost-effective to set up an on-site session. The company can also choose to host the course at its own location, or can have the session conducted at another near-by facility. If you are interested in considering an on-site session, please give Paul O’Neill a call at 630-323-6433 or send him an e-mail at paul@marmoncollege.com
