In today's world, it seems that the only constant is ever-increasing change. Managers are expected to see the need for change, to determine the best way to meet that need, to lead the change process, to overcome resistance to the plan, and to complete the implementation of the change. They are also expected to minimize the typical "backsliding" when problems arise from the change. This course will provide participants with tools and techniques needed to more effectively manage change within their operations and business units.

·         Understanding the types of changes: strategic and tactical

·         Analyzing resistance to change

·         Change method #1: Forcing people to change

·         Change method #2: Persuading people to change

·         Change method #3: Empowering people to change

·         When to use each change method

·         How to use each change method

·         Practice using each change method

·         Reinforcing a completed change

·         Developing your own plan for change
