About Marmon College History of Marmon College Since 1977, Marmon College has provided continuing professional development for employees within the member companies of The Marmon Group and The Colson Group. Marmon College accomplishes its work primarily by developing and conducting high quality, instructor‑led courses that meet the unique needs of participants. These needs arise from a combination of factors: the size of companies, the manufacturing orientation of most member companies, the privately held nature of the business, and the operating philosophies of The Marmon Group and The Colson Group. Our current courses are designed to meet these needs, and we are continuously revising or developing new courses to meet the emerging needs of the Marmon and Colson companies.
