Course Overview/Benefits
Participants will have their management skills assessed,
receive a professional interpretation of the assessment and use the
information to create an individual development program. The workshop uses a process called
the Managerial Assessment of Proficiencies (MAP). This competency‑based,
computer‑scored program uses a video and workbook format to assess a
manager’s proficiency in 12 key competencies:

Clear Information
- Getting
Unbiased Information
- Training,

Managers are also assessed on two styles and eight
values/drives. MAP is a proven
tool for pinpointing and charting strengths and development needs as
compared to industry norms of more than 120,000 managers worldwide.
This
workshop session will include a
substantial amount of one-on-one counseling as each participant develops a
personal development plan to help them meet the challenges of increasing
responsibilities.
Follow‑up training will be completed through use of
local training resources or through Marmon College
courses.
More than 400 managers from member companies have completed
this program.
